What TORFL actually is

TORFL (Тест по русскому языку как иностранному, abbreviated ТРКИ) is the official Test of Russian as a Foreign Language, administered by accredited Russian universities and testing centers. It runs from Elementary and Basic levels up through TRKI-4, roughly mapping to the CEFR scale from A1 to C2, and is commonly required for admission to Russian universities and, at certain levels, for Russian citizenship applications.
